We need a house sitter

South Eastern Victoria - Lakes & Wilderness

We have two indoor cats, an indoor dog and an outdoor dog.
We need someone to feed the cats twice a day, and clean out the kitty litter as required. Also feed the dogs morning and night and take him for a short 30 minute walk. One dog is a bit older and can only come inside if carefully watched as he is an old rescue who takrs every opportunity to use the carpet as a toilet. The other dog prefers to be inside and will ask to go outside if he needs the toilet. You will have full use of the house. The house is old, but comfortable. Two fireplaces, plenty of firewood available. There is a pool, which is clean.
Lovely country views all around.
You will have a furnished guest room available with bathroom across the hall.
Towels, sheets etc provided. Queen bed, bedside tables, dresser and limited dresser space.
6 minutes from Sale for shopping etc. 20 minutes to Seaspray beach on the 90 Mile Beach.

We are vegan, so if you are going to be cooking meat, please bring your own pots/plates etc. Otherwise you are welcome to use/eat everything in the kitchen/pantry/freezer.

Given that we will be away for some weeks, mowing the main area around the house to keep the snakes away will be most appreciated. Also watering the plants.

I had a great time taking care of Natalia's well behaved cats. Leo is such a good fellow who made me laugh with his funny fascination for a brush and Sunny is an absolute sweetie, always up for a cuddle. The house is big and beautiful, with green views all around. I enjoyed having lunch in one of its outdoors tables and spending cosy evenings by one of it fireplaces, in a comfortable couch, with Sunny purring on my lap. I had a lovely time with Leo and Sunny, both have distinctive personalities; they were good company and super easy to care for. The house is lovely and comfortable, and the location was a treat: close to Sale and the Gippland beaches, a pretty site, and on a rise overlooking wetland with glorius sunsets. Natalia had thought of everything and the sit was a real pleasure. Ask me back any time :-D
