Hi!

We are Kym and Dave, we live on 5 acres in the Gawler region of South Australia. Our home is neat and comfortable with ducted air cooling throughout the house, Wifi, BBQ and an outdoor entertainment area – great for summer. We are 5 minutes from the town centre of Gawler, 45 minutes from Adelaide city or 15 minutes to the Barossa Valley.

We need someone/people who are comfortable looking after pets.
We have two dogs, Dura (Border Collie) and Taco (Besenji), both are 10 years old and are indoor/outdoor pets. Both are friendly and lovely natured, Taco can be very quiet and will sit back until he gets to know you. Dura just loves people (and the ball).

Little Cat is our elderly, 16 year old cat, she is very quiet and keeps to herself but will sit close by for a chat and to see what is going on.

The 2 budgies, Little Chirp and Blue Bird, are in a cage inside, they love to sing loudly and can be a little mischievous.

Our 3 Galah’s, Kevin, Rosie and Henry (Henrietta) are kept in an aviary outside; Henry and Rosie are older, placid and friendly. Kevin is a bit younger, loves to have company but can be protective of his space – someone who is confident around birds would be a bonus.

Little Cat, Dura and Taco will need feeding twice a day (morning / night) and Dura have the ball thrown but they won’t need walking due to their yard size.
The budgies will just need their food and water changed. Kevin, Rosie and Henry (Galah’s) will need to have food and water changed and also their cage swept out.
We have a few fish who live in a pond outside and only require some food and a check that the filter is still on.

The majority of our property is bush garden but we have a garden area around the house, while most have automatic watering we do have some pot plants that will need some water.

While we are planning for these dates we can be flexible by a day or two either side if required.
