We need a house sitter

South Eastern - Toowoomba & South Eastern

Trevor & Bev

We live on a 80 acre block 30 minutes North of Toowoomba in the Meringandan district on a quiet road with no visible houses, yet only 3 km. from lots of houses in the popular Highfields/ Meringandan development areas.
Requirements:-
*Water pot plants and the newly planted garden approx. every second day (depending on rainfall)
*We live in a very scenic area of S.E. QLD where there are lots of places to see and things to do during day trips, but we request that the sitter(s) stay every night for security.
We have 12 steers/cattle who will require daily supplement feeding of hay and molasses.
If you don't want the challenge of trying to befriend our very shy cat, we are ok to give her a holiday at the kennels.
Electricity, rain and bore water will be available for use.
A flat cemented area beside the house (future car garage) is available for your caravan and vehicle parking.

We had a great sit for Bev and Trevor very friendly couple and made us feel very welcome. We spent 12 days caring for their lovely cat Sally we had lots of laughs with her. They also had 12 steers which required feed daily this was something new but enjoyed this task. We would recommend this sit to anyone that enjoys a quiet country stay. Thank you Bev and Trevor for your hospitality.

Trevor & Bev were welcoming hosts for this house sit. The property is large and we enjoyed a morning walk around the property in the mornings. They left clear written instructions with good communication prior and during the house sit. We stayed in our van with access to power and water and our cat was welcomed as well. Having the wallabies, kookaburras and other bird life around was a bonus. Many thanx Trevor & Bev. 🥰
