Spectacular views over Lake Macquarie and with very easy access to walking/bike path around the Lake and to Speers Point Park, voted one of the best parks in the country. This is a two storey home with quite a lot of steps, with a very low maintenance resort style back yard with automatic pool and spa. Our aging poodle cross dog Shadow is very friendly and will follow you everywhere. She gets quite distraught when left alone so we need sitters who will be at home most of the time. As we are often away for short times (2 night sits) as well as longer trips (4-6 weeks) ideally we would like to find sitters who live locally and who can be available for these short sits. You will have your own 'granny flat' which opens out onto the sunny resort style pool area, so we are quite comfortable if you need to overlap the dates a little. Sitters must be non smokers and most likely you will need your own transport as it is a long walk (just over 1km) to nearest supermarket although we have a number of coffee shops and a very nice pub/restaurant within easy walking distance. There is plenty of quiet street parking, room for a caravan or RV but we cannot always offer you off street garaging as our car will often be left in the garage, but there is a short carport which would cover most of a small car. Unfortunately we do not have bicycles. Plenty of room both inside and on the pool deck for exercise, yoga or just to sit and relax.
