Central Coast
Lisa
Experience a laid-back coastal Christmas, and relax, explore, and enjoy the company of a furry companion amidst the natural beauty of the NSW Central Coast.
We're heading off on a family holiday over Christmas and New Years and are needing someone to take care of our fur baby and water our indoor and balcony plants while we're away. In return, we offer up our bright and breezy 3-bedroom home in Wamberal, just a stone's throw away from numerous beautiful surf beaches, lagoons, rock pools and coastal walking trails, and just north of the vibrant seaside town of Terrigal. Within 15 mins drive, you'll find Erina Fair, the largest single level shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere, and numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques, playgrounds, gyms, family friendly pubs, and RSL, bowling, and golf clubs. There are fishing and surfing spots aplenty and we're also not too far from Sydney and Newcastle, both of which are around 1.5 hours away.
Our cute and cozy coastal home features a king-size bed and two double beds, two TVs, kitchen with panty, L-shaped living and dining, and one bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Outside, we have a large saltwater pool, trampoline, split-level flat yard, tropical gardens, and a spacious balcony with some water views and furnished with an outdoor lounge, dining table, and BBQ. The sunrises are amazing! Our quiet street backs onto to tranquil bushland, so you'll awake to the sound of a thousand kookaburras laughing every morning and may encounter other native wildlife, including the occasional wallaroo if lucky.
You can expect lots of cuddles while you're staying here. Fern, our 8-year-old(ish) female Staffy x Kelpie, is very much Staffy in temperament, i.e. very loyal, loving, and overly affectionate! She's particularly great with kids. Fern will need to be fed and exercised once a day, even if just a quick game of fetch in the backyard of an afternoon. She is normally an indoor-outdoor dog, but is more than happy to stay outside, particularly during the warmer months, if that's your preference. She will need to be kept inside during fireworks and thunderstorms though, as she's a bit of a wuss.
We love where we live and we expect you'll love it here too :)
