Ulverstone TAS

Looking for someone with lots of love and energy to give a 3 year old dog and a cat when I leave for a few weeks.
You will need to be confident with large, strong breeds and happy to take her for a couple of walks a day (or a run, if that's your thing!), and play with her in between. There are lots of training games that we play, which are fun and easy. Millie is a rescue dog and came with a history of being frightened by people and other dogs. Once you become one of her people (which is easy!) she will always want your attention and cuddles. She is much better with strangers than she used to be, but other dogs still need to be avoided, so she can't go off leash in public.
Chloe the cat is amazingly patient with Millie, who can be boisterous and she will love sidling up next to you on the couch.
You will need to come a few days before I leave (there are spare bedrooms), or you will need to be close enough to come and do some visits, so Millie can get to know you before I disappear. I have learned this is the best way to manage her getting too anxious.
The house is big and private at the end of a quiet court. You can walk to the beach and into town.
