The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen living, office, butlers pantry, laundry and sunroom. It is situated on 1 acre of land on the edge of town. 3km to the CBD of Bairnsdale.
All lawn can be mowed with a ride on mower. There are a dozen vegetable beds, mostly wicking and raised.
The house has solar panels and batteries, but is also on mains power. We request that house sitters use the passive solar features of the house to minimize mains power usage. It should be possible to have minimal electricity costs. Any cost above $50 per month would be payable by the sitter.
We expect the house to be maintained in the condition in which it is left
There is a sunroom with pot plants that need to be watered. Weed growth in the garden is minimal in the winter, but we request that weeding be done.
We would prefer that we meet sitters before we leave.
We have a detailed house sitters manual prepared. We will be overseas, but available by email most of the time.
