Do you need a holiday? Do you want to work from home from a stunning location with beautiful views and a National Park 5 minutes walk away? Do you like cuddly fluffy dogs who love attention but are equally as happy just spending all day sleeping? Then this is the housesit for you!

I'm off to Europe for work (child safeguarding research) and wondering whether anyone would like to house- and dog-sit at the base of the Dandenong Ranges for their own winter holiday.

I'll be away overseas (for 6 weeks (Likely Saturday 15/06/2024 - Sunday 28/07/2024) and my beautiful boy Baci (12 .5 y/o) would love to stay at home with someone rather than have his own holiday in a kennel. Would particularly suit someone who is working from home as Baci does appreciate having someone here to keep him calm (he gets a bit of separation anxiety but as long as someone is around he's happy). Depending on the weather you will be able to have some lovely walks around the Dandenong Ranges and/or go into the eastern villages (Sassafras, Olinda, Monbulk, Emerald) for some lunches or afternoon teas (Baci will be fine locked in kitchen for short lengths of time).

There is a huge back yard out the back but I'm not expecting a sitter to do any work on it except to water the vegetable garden (help yourself to veggies). There are some pots out the front and in the house that will need watering.

Would love to begin building relationships with people who are interested in house sitting in the future as my work protecting children may continue to take me on trips.
