We need a house sitter

Brisbane - Western Suburbs

Rachelle

We are looking for an experienced quiet living house sitter (no children) with excellent references - preferably through Aussie House Sitters to care for our home, lovely dogs, chickens and garden whilst we are away for a week. We are located within walking distance from Samford Village in a peaceful and quiet location.

It is 10 minutes drive to Ferny Grove Train Station and 35 minutes drive to Brisbane city.

Our property is one and a half acres consisting of lawns, gardens, natural bush land, a pool, fire pit, veggie patches etc.

The ideal candidate will be required to care for our dogs, feed the chooks and perhaps water if needed.

Rachelle and her family have a comfortable home in the lovely village of Samford which is a 30minutes drive/train trip from central Brisbane. Rachelle was a very easy person to communicate with and all of her family made us feel very welcome in their home. Their two friendly doggies, Layla and Clover loved their daily walks and plays and we also got to enjoy fresh eggs from their chooks.

We had a lovely time at Rachelle and Richard's beautiful home in Samford. Layla is a beautiful, peaceful dog and we took her everywhere with us. She even helped my wife round up the chickens. There is a great vegetable garden and free range eggs every day. Rachelle was so helpful with her information and everything went smoothly. We recommend house sitting for them anytime. It was a great experience and would love to go back again.

What a pleasure it was to house sit for Rachelle and her family! Their house is lovely, peaceful, and easy to care for. Layla the dog is the sweetest hound ever! She was good to walk - and even better at playing fetch. The chooks and the veggies were all very easy to look after too. Communication with Rachelle and Ric was effortless throughout. I'd be more than happy to house sit for them again in the future. Thank you! :) :)
