I am looking for an experienced and reliable animal-friendly female(s) single/couple or an elderly couple who has their own vehicle, for 14 days it is an easy job to do. The sitter can live in the renovated house for this sit, with a comfortable guest room available. It is feeding 3 friendly personal gelded paddock horses and three family-desexed dogs (which come and go in the house ) The Sitter can use the pool and the back-covered veranda to relax and enjoy the open spectacular views. Undercover parking is available for vehicles. We supply wi-fi. and mobile access. Regular Buses run close by. Time required to sit up to 14 days, however it would be beneficial if the sitter arrived a day earlier and could stay one night longer making it 16 days in total. October is the perfect time to view the area and see the sights. The property is 2 km from the small unique township of Nimbin - 18km to Mount Warning .30 km from Lismore and 55km from Ballina. It would suit someone looking for a tranquil environment. The task is house-sitting and feeding dogs and our horses. Hay is supplied to throw over the fence, once a day. Horse's water will need topping up once by turning on a tap, The Sitter should keep us up to date about our animals. The 3 family dogs were fed twice a day. All are much loved. The land where the horses graze is 9 acres fully fenced and locked, The dogs run free and are kept in a fully 100% dog-proof fence around the large house yard, The yard gate must be kept closed making sure the dogs are kept inside the yard. Horse and dog feed will be provided. No gardening work is needed. The house should be kept reasonably clean. It is quiet with a great view of the mountain and distant hills. Approx 1 hr 10 minutes to the Gold Coast, so it is an ideal stopover for the 2.3 weeks of your travels. Phone conversations before arrival are essential. References are required. NOTE no extra visitors are allowed at ALL. Some slight changes to the sitting dates may be possible ie to poor weather, NB- Police checks are required as well The house does not flood.
