Melbourne - Yarra-Dandenong Ranges
Anitra
We live in a beautiful new home set on five acres in Monbulk, at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges. The house has in floor hydronic heating and remains a comfortable temperature throughout the colder months. The main street is a 4 minute drive and has two supermarkets, two medical clinics, a library, chemist, post office and other specialty shops. With the Yarra Valley close by there is plenty to enjoy with walks, restaurants, wineries and attractions such as the Healesville Sanctuary.
We have two very friendly German Shepherd dogs, Mak (8 years) and Bo (6 years), who sleep outdoors and enjoy the run of the property.
The garden will need watering only if there is dry/hot weather during the period of the house sit.
My mother lives on a fully self contained cottage on the same property and has all the care she needs through aged care support. House sitters are not required to offer any additional support other than a neighbourly wave hello.
Experience and/or the confidence to operate a modern generator (guidance will be given) would be a bonus. Power outages are rare but it's good to be prepared.
Best suited to a mature couple or single. This house sit is not suitable for families.
