Upper Flagstone QLD

Hello! We are looking for a house sitter while we are away for 11 nights at the snow. Sadly our regular sitters are unavailable. Our house is child friendly open two level home on 6 acres on Flagstone Creek, 8km from Toowoomba at picturesque Upper Flagstone.

The comfort and safety of our animals is most important to us. In your care will be;
Two dogs- one very quiet and spoilt Staffy, Lucy, and one very sweet and scruffy Jack Russel called Ted. They are inside dogs, however they sometimes sleep out on the veranda at night.

Two cats; a big Ginger called Simon. He is a low maintenance cat who spends some time outside. We also have a Burmese girl "Possum" who we prefer to keep indoors.
Our chooks are free range, you may take them food scraps, top up their grain etc.

ONE BEARDED DRAGON, "Randal". Randal is a bright yellow Central Bearded Dragon who lives in a 6 ft enclosure in the house. He is a very sweet, calm and gentle dragon who is low maintenance but does have needs. A willingness to care for a reptile will be essential.

*Sitter must be confident around horses*
HORSES- three small ponies, Sweetie, Tonka and Belle who need to be yarded at night and let out in the day. One thoroughbred, Sammy, who you will need to give hay and feed in the afternoon and shut into yards for the night.
**Experience with horses is necessary. They are all very quiet and easy to handle, however they are still horses. :)

Our house is comfortable and you will have your own large bedroom downstairs with a double and a single bed. The whole house is yours to share with the cats and dogs, and we value someone who will spend time relaxing at home with them. I am an artist and have collected some interesting work from friends and local artists which hangs around the house, my artist studio is downstairs. Our veranda wraps around and offers peaceful views of the surrounding mountains and places to relax and enjoy the birdsong. Starlink Wifi, Aircon, fireplace, espresso coffee and Tv with Netflix, Disney and Stan.

We are conveniently very close to Toowoomba while having the peace and quiet of the Australian bush, with regular Australian wildlife like koalas, kookaburras, kangaroos and native bird visitors.

We are a family of five, Alice and Brad, and kids Hermione 8, Felix 6 and Myles 2. Our property features a fenced house yard with a cubby, trampoline and spaces for children to play safely.

My parents and in-laws all live nearby and will be available to you should you have any issues.
