Kangaroo Flat VIC

My partner and myself are looking for someone/a couple to house sit & look after our dog for approx 4 weeks whilst we are on our honeymoon.

We live on approx a quarter acre block on the edge of Bendigo in Kangaroo Flat, 2 minute drive/15 min walk to the shopping center and local food options, with a similar distance the other way to a national park and walking tracks.

Gas heating to the main house and a wood heater available in the outdoor entertaining area, both with large TVs and comfy couches. Walk in shower, modern kitchen. Well fenced and private yard that requires a little watering but is low maintenance. If you could give the lawns a mow once during the 4 week stay that would be ideal (we have the mower), but if not it isn't a big deal.

We have a young dog who will 9-10 months old at the time of the house sit. He is a Finnish Lapphund breed (medium sized) dog, He is an inside sleeping dog but is fully house trained and has all basic training covered, he is however still a playful puppy at heart. He needs a minimum 30 minute walk daily but preferably an hour an day. A bit of a play a few times a day with fetching a ball, playing tug of war, or doing tricks for treats would also be appreciated, being an active dog he is much better behaved when he gets stimulation. He can left alone for up for 4-5 hours at a time but not for whole days. He does bark on occasional but is a gorgeous, gentle dog overall. He would require a 10 minute brush once a week also. We have a tropical fish tank which requires no maintenance other than dropping fish flakes in once a day.
