Hey everyone,

We are Nat and Andy, new residents of Castlemaine and about to head off on our honeymoon! Our dates aren't firm yet, but hoping we can find a sitter and can be a bit flexible around you before we book anything.

We have three dogs but one will be staying with family. You will be caring for our other two who are:
- Keiko, a 9ish year old Husky x Chow (possibly? As a rescue we can't know for sure!). She is easy going and sleeps most of the day, but does enjoy company and her daily walks.
- 7 year old Japanese Akita, Soxi who basically follows Keiko around and is true to his breed being aloof but will get used to you once he relaxes. Both require a friendly but firm dog handler. They can sometimes be reactive to other dogs when on the lead, and as larger breeds an experienced walker is a must. I am able to tell when they are on alert and will just cross the stress.

We are looking for somebody responsible, mature and respectful to look after our home and someone who will care Keiko as Soxi as much as we do. They are fine on their own for most of the day so you don't need to be around 24/7 but definitely prefer company.

Our place is a 3 bedroom house in the heart of Castlemaine, walking distance to the centre of town, shops, supermarket, cafes etc and also 500m from lots of bushy trails for walks.

Nat's comfortable apartment is right in the centre of bustling Thornbury, now one of Melbourne's hippest suburbs. There are countless restaurants, cafes and bars on High St and the Greek market in Clarendon St is not to be missed. Nat was a welcoming host and Keiko and Soxi turned out to be big, gentle and lovable. We really enjoyed this sit. Thanks, Nat.

Keiko and Soxi are absolute sweethearts. Gentle, friendly, love a pat and long walks. I enjoyed staying in Nat's home and enjoyed the delights of High street and her central location. Communication with Nat was relaxed, positive and daily updates were easy. It was a pleasure spending time with Nat's lovely dogs and we extended the sit for a few days. I would highly recommend Nat (Soxi and Keiko) for future sits.

Natalie’s house is situated near the tram stop and only a 1 minute walk from the tram stop making it an easy trip into the CBD. Keiko and Soxy were easy to look after. We enjoyed our housesit :) Thank you Nat!

Sitting Keiko and Soxi was the best and easiest job in the world ! Those two fluff balls are a real treat: they are cuddly, extremely chill, and are really easy to walk around. We had a blast sitting them, and would do it again without hesitation. The house is cozy, very well located in Thornbury, and close to cafés and markets. Natalie is very nice, easily reachable, and left clear instructions regarding the house & dogs. Thank you Nat for the opportunity, we had a wonderful time !

No rating Natalie and Sean were great home / pet owners. Their dog Keiko is a delight to be around, fun to play with, hardly every barks and is straight out adorable. Natalie and Sean are super down to earth and it felt like we'd known them for ages. They weren't fussy or picky with us using anything, basically what was theirs was ours.
