We need a house sitter

South Western - Heartlands

Jane

We live on a 12acre rural block with a large garden, plus chickens and ducks. We are looking for someone who has their own transport and is used to living in a rural area. The area has bushland adjacent with good bushwalking trails. House is passive solar design with backup AC for hot days plus slow combustion heater. Saltwater pool with an semi- automatic management system - great to cool off on warm days. We use tank water with a filtered cold water tap in the kitchen.

Richard and I were made very welcome on our arrival to Jane and Colins little piece of paradise at Gidgegannup. Lovely home, beautiful gardens and happy chooks and ducks. Clear written instructions on what was needed to care for their home was supplied, which made our job very easy and our stay in this area very enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend Jane and Colin to any future housesitters, and hopefully our paths will cross again. Christine and Richard

CHRISTINE AND RICHARD (Oct 2018 - 1 week 3 days)
We loved house sitting for Jane and Colin. Fresh fruit and vegetables were a bonus. The ducks and chickens were lots of fun.

WAYNE (Sep 2023 - 21days)
Jane and Colin are engaging and generous. Their house and garden is a labour of love creating a comfortable and easy to maintain living environment. The garden is inspiring and the surrounding area beautiful. Looking after the ducks and chickens is fun and you are rewarded with eggs. Be sure to visit nearby Lake Leschenaultia. We had a throughly enjoyable stay and highly recommend Jane and Colin as hosts.
