Hunter Valley - Upper Hunter Valley

Annie

I have a small 5 acre farm at Middlebrook approx 5 kms from our township of Scone in a very safe quiet area. Our comfy country home (cottage) has been fully renovated with a modern bathroom and kitchen, reverse cycle air conditioning, and outdoor living area and deck.

The property is very picturesque and I am told it provides a space of relaxation and a feeling of tranquility.

The area is famous for its picturesque regional areas, horse studs and vineyards with a number of quaint country towns close by to visit.

My pets are very friendly and low maintenance. I can make other arrangements for the horses if you are not confident with horses.

There is plenty of room for a large caravan or motor home - I have had a number of sitters stay with large vehicles.

If you would be interested in a country stay please let me know. I can be flexible if this helps and can make the stay for a longer period if that works for you. I can also provide contact details for referees who have stayed for me previously.

Many thanks

Annie's travel plans changed as her elderly dog, Ally, was ailing. We spent a week at the farm together before Annie left for a well-deserved break with Vic the kelpie. I had a wonderful visit to The Farm! Annie is so generous and relaxed about sharing her home and I felt truly comfortable. We had some great chats over food and wine. There was a heatwave (or two) during my stay but once I got into a routine with the horses, ducks and cats, it was fairly easy to keep the gardens watered. All of ... MORE

ANNIE (Feb 2023 - 2 weeks)
We absolutely loved looking after Annie's pets and beautiful home. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and welcomed. Lola, Victor and Ally (dogs) were a joy to look after and enjoyed our daily walks and relaxing time under the shady tree. Thanks Annie for trusting in us to care for your furry family and home. Kind regards Kim and Geoff

Annie's beloved 'family' of horses, dogs, ducks, cats, parrot and pigeon were an absolute delight to chill with, and care for.. My partner Gordon and I had such a fun time housesitting for Annie! Annie provided detailed instructions, and responded promptly to questions we needed to shoot through to her. Annie's home oozed a beautiful vibe; her garden and lawns lovingly maintained. So openly accepting were all the animals - large and small - bonding with them was effortless. ... MORE

To whom it may concern , we have housesat at for Annie a number of occasions, it was a pleasure to deal with Annie, she made us feel right at home. Over the house sitting period it was evident that we became life long friends and still keep in touch today. If we are ever back in NSW, we will house sit again and visit. Missing all of the family and fur family.
