My husband and I live on a beautiful 36 acre property just outside of Warwick, Queensland.(15 min drive into town).

Needing someone who can be confident feeding and checking 2 horses. We also have 4 dogs and 3 cats who are very easy to care for. House can be used as your home or you're welcome to park caravan etc on our place.

Our dogs and cats are inside pets at night so would need someone to sit inside with them at night. All our dogs are crated at night and whenever you need to leave the house so may not suit someone who wants to be out all day. We do go out for day trips for about 5-6 hours but no longer during the day.

During the day the dogs have a fully fenced yard when you are at home (dogs and cats are put inside when not home during the day or night) and the cats remain inside all day or outside in there cage for a few hours a day. Our horses are low maintenance and easy to handle. They would need feeding/watering and checking them over on a daily basis. We would prefer someone with no dogs, sorry. We do also make sure cats and dogs are inside on hot days with the air conditioning on. Our border collie is heavy coated and gets hot in summer.

Our dogs are very chilled and friendly. 3 dogs will require 2 walks per day around our property. Our older kelpie isn't the easiest to walk so a couple of ball games a day should suffice for him. We do give the dogs a game or 2 during the day. They chill on the lounge at night and sleep all night in their crates.

2 of our cats are super friendly and our other boy may need a day or 2 to relax but once he is comfortable he will be fine.

Rod and I had a very nice stay at Donna and Stephens home in Loch Lomond , they have a lovely property 18 ks from Warwick Queensland . The view is amazing and on a sunny day it is very nice to sit on the front veranda for morning coffee . Their 2 dogs 2 cats and 2 horses are easy to look after , they are all friendly , and just need their food and a warm body on the couch next to you in the evening . Donna and Steve's communication and presentation of their house was excellent. The house was presented beautifully and exceptionally clean. The communication leading up to the sit and the instructions left for the caring of the animals was also exceptional, detailed and so helpful. Donna and Steve gave us the opportunity to look after their 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 horses at their acreage. Donna left very detailed instructions on what each animals needs where and we thoroughly enjoyed taking care of them. The cats were quite entertaining once they got to know us. I would certainly recommend Donna as a house owner. I was able to see them before the sit. I was well briefed on requirements. I was able to have contact with them while they were away for any queries or problems. Their home was comfortable & well appointed, & they live in a very attractive part of Queensland, Would recommend.

Donna and Steve left me very detailed notes which was very helpful in working out the different meals for each cat, the dogs were easier to please so long as they got their walks each day. All the animals were very well behaved and surprisingly seemed to get on well together which made it easier to look after them, not too many disagreements amongst them. We were so lucky to be accepted to sit in Loch Lomond. it is a lovely part of the world....not far from Warwick in NSW. We received a friendly welcome from Donna and Stephen and enjoyed a meal together before they departed. This small farm was so peaceful. We spent 3 weeks in November enjoying the fabulous ever changing views at Loch Lomond. Friendly dogs, cats and horses were easy to care for. We can thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys a rural lifestyle.
