Echunga SA

Echunga is located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills,. It is 7 minutes from Hahndorf and 10 minutes from Mount Barker. It has a small village feel with a general store, great pub with excellent food, a few local businesses and a post office. It is a wonderful place to stay for those looking for a quiet and peaceful country retreat that is close to metro Adelaide. Travel to the city takes around 40 mins via the freeway.

Our home is in the residential area of Echunga so definitely not a farm! It is a traditional style 3 bedroom house with large front garden, fruit trees and veggie patches. It is fully renovated, clean and modern. The garden needs minimal maintenance - just watering plants if the winter rain is scarce. No mowing required.

Our pets are a much loved part of our family. We have a dog and two cats. Our cats are indoor only and have a large cat run outside with indoor access. Our dog is seven and is a pugalier who requires a gentle walk each day. He loves to sleep and needs lots of cuddles and affection! He is the friendliest dog and has a wonderful temperament with children. He gets on with most dogs so those with friendly dogs are welcome. He would very much struggle with another car though so this wouldn’t be suitable for this travelling with their own cat.

Our home is suitable for families with plenty of outdoor space to play. Our neighbourhood is very quiet and our neighbours are lovely. Noise needs to be kept to a minimum in the evenings to respect out neighbours.

We have all the usual tech amenities (streaming services, wifi, etc) Plenty of off street parking suitable for a caravan and many beautiful walking trails and wineries close by. Please note that public transport is very limited.
