Melbourne - South East

Bob

Treed ten-acre property, the dwelling is on the east bank of a large lake. Entrance to the dwelling is from the upper level. kitchen is light and airy with dining area attached and comes equipped both a gas and electric cooking range. Adjoining the kitchen is small lounge area with TV for informal gathering. A larger lounge area for viewing the lake is the on upper level. There are two Spacious Bedrooms fitted with double beds and cupboard space. Easy access to bath rooms. Living area is accessible on one level, lower-level consists of rumpus room another bath room with second study or third bedroom. A large undercover parking adjoins the front of the house. Parking for a caravan or motor home is available at the rear of the dwelling. I have three cats and some fish (located in an outdoor pond in front of house) that need taking care of while I am away. It’s a quite location in a semi-rural area (nearby Coles has been recently been opened). Frankston is only a ten-minute drive and easy access to the Mornington Peninsula is afforded via Peninsula Link.
Departure date is flexible as I am leaving on a road trip and not locked in with flight times.
I am seeking house sitters who are retired and of a mature age.

Spent just over a week housesitting for Bob, very friendly man, instructions very clear. Bob has 3 cats which were easy to care for. Only down side is, Bob's property is very beautiful, but has lots of trees and hard to get large vehicles in, but in saying this Bob did everything he could including cutting back branches to make it easier, but you still have branches hitting your vehicle. Would recommended anyone to housesit for Bob.

We enjoyed sitting for Bob. His communication in the time leading up to and during the sit was top notch. He left excellent instructions and invited us to stay with him the night before he left so that he could explain things to us and to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed caring for his cats and watching the healthy fish in the lovely pond. We had a lovely comfortable bed, a wood fire and everything we needed to have a warm, peaceful break away from busy Sydney. Thanks Bob. Kathryn ... MORE
