Wauchope NSW

Hello, we are a young family travelling for an extended period between approximately mid September 2024 - beginning of January 2025. We require a house sitter/s to care for our home and animals and are open to individuals, couples or families (we have lots of books & toys!)

We live in Wauchope, a small country town approximately 20 minutes from the beautiful Port Macquarie. Our home is located in a quieter part of town and has access to walking, hiking and mountain bike riding.

We have one king size bed and one double size bed available to the house sitter. We have an open flat driveway suitable for a caravan. Other house features are below.

We have two dogs, a small kelpie cross and a medium size boxer. They are walked most days in the forest. Duties would mostly be around feeding, walking and generally caring for them.

We also have three chickens who need only minimal care. They live in a chook enclosure and are let out to roam in the backyard.

Other duties would include general home care, putting bins in/out, collecting mail and basic garden care such as mowing, watering fruit trees etc.

A suitable house sitter will be generally tidy, honest and reliable. They will keep in regular contact and will be comfortable with animals.

Police check and recent references are highly valued. Experience in house sitting for extended periods would be preferred though is not essential.

Our house will be made available for FREE though we would like to negotiate a financial contribution for utilities for the sitting period.

One or more meet and greets prior to the house sit is a must, so as to ensure everyone feels it is an appropriate fit.

Unfortunately no other animals, smoking outside only.
