Howrah TAS

We are heading to Europe in late July for 2.5 months and are seeking someone to house and pet sit for any of the time we are away at our house in Howrah. Our parents will be able to fill in a week or two if the full 2.5 months is too much for the right person/couple.

We are in a quiet neighbourhood that's fairly new. The house is newly built, modern, big and warm with floor to ceiling north facing windows and ducted heating/cooling. It's walking distance to a new shopping centre with post office, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery etc, 10-15 minutes drive from Hobart city, and 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach.

We are looking for someone or a couple comfortable with handling dogs, we have a small 3yo border collie and a 6yo mixed breed, both medium sized dogs. Both are indoor/outdoor dogs. They are very well behaved, friendly and cuddly, and easy to handle but do need regular walks (every 2 days at least). The mixed breed is reactive to dogs he doesn't know so whoever is walking him needs to always cross the road if there is another dog ahead to avoid getting close. Aside from this, they are well trained, and easy to care for.
They get fed morning and night and love to play fetch and tug of war with you in the backyard as well if you have time, or instead of a walk if the weather is bad.

We have indoor plants that will need weekly watering and a close eye on them, and a garden and lawn to maintain. As it will be winter the garden and lawn shouldn't need much maintenance/watering aside from a couple of mows.
