Central Coast - Bundaberg & Wide Bay

My husband and I require house sitters over the Christmas period as our son is getting married in Thailand. We realise it’s a long way off but arrangements for that time of the year are problematic and expensive.
We have a 12 year old docile cavoodle called Sooty and a 7 month old sausage dog called Squirt (he’ll be 1 by Christmas) plus 3 chooks that require some affection and attention in our absence.
Our house is a three-bedroom, light and airy home with an outdoor heated spa, air-con, undercover parking and all mod-cons. We would prefer a non-smoker and for the house to be kept neat and tidy. We have small vegetable patches that may need watering and perhaps one lawn mow if needed.
Our suburb is tranquil and quiet and close to the water and a bus stop for a 15-minute ride to town.

Jen and Steve have a lovely home just a short walk away from the beach. They are genuinely nice people and were very welcoming. and left clear instructions covering all contingencies. We really enjoyed our stay there, and looking after Sooty, a lovely natured, cavoodle, was an absolute pleasure. Squirt, the dachshund "baby" was so cute that overlooking his occasional puppy antics was easy (just like having another grandchild).
