Looking for a house sitter(s) to look after a 4 acre property and my 2 greyhounds, 1 kelpie and 3 horses.
Property has a 4 bedroom home and 2 bathrooms, carport for 1 car and a salt water pool with pool cleaner (low maintenance) and gazebo next to the pool for entertaining.
Mowing will be done before I go away so may not need doing while I'm away but weekly watering a few plants in pots on the verandahs will need to be done.
All pets are friendly and have no health issues and are all
easy to look after.
Happy for you to bring a dog with you providing it's good with other dogs
Horses require feeding twice a day. Horse and dog poo pick up required DAILY which takes no more than 30 mins each morning (wheelbarrow and rake provided)
5kms from Jimboomba shops 25mins from Browns Plains.
Unlimited WIFI available at the property.
Would ideally suit sitters with their OWN accommodation (ie a motorhome or caravan) as I have plenty of room for parking and access to power and water.
I am flexible with the start and finish dates (longer not shorter) to fit in with a house sitters other commitments.
We are in a perfect location if you like the outdoors. 1/2 hr from Tamborine Mountain and an hour from the Gold Coast, Lamington National Park, Springbrook, Mt Barney and Binna Burra (3rd pic taken at Binna Burra)
Kerry was the most wonderful host, we felt very welcomed and comfortable.
Kerry's property was immaculate and all 5 dogs and 3 horses were pleasure to look after. When we couldn't continue our journey due to Covid 19 border restrictions Kerry generously offered us to stay with her for further 2 weeks.

It was a pleasure to house for Kerry on her 4 acres.
I parked my van in her driveway and had access to power , water and a bathroom in the house .
Tranquil area behind Jimboomba.
Kerry is a special person with a great love of horses and dogs .There was a comprehensive list of approximate feed times and requirements.
Her 3 dogs Dozer , King , Joe were perfect gentlemen and know their routine which made everything run smoothly. Basil the horse was friendly too.

Kerry was communicative and friendly and left good instructions for all the tribe. I enjoyed taking care of her very well behaved pets. I especially developed a new love for greyhounds. They were very sweet and respectful and fun to care for. Halo and Mischief, her two beautiful cats also won over me and my companion Tim, with ease and charm. Kerry was very welcoming of us and our children. The 4 dogs we looked after (King, Dozer, Yeni and Rusty) were all wonderfully behaved and really good with our kids (aged 3 and 5). The horse was easy enough to look after and we had no issues. Kerry's house was nice, clean, tidy and a wonderful place for extra space outside of our caravan. Kerry is a gem of a person who we hope to keep in contact with. Thanks for a beautiful experience.
We took care of Kerrys well behaved animals for her while she was on holidays.
We enjoyed spending quality time with the animals.
Kerry is a nice lady & easy to get along with & any issues or concerns we had with regards to the house sit job she got back to us about it asap.
Her animals were a pleasure to take care of & we would house sit again for her.
Anyone looking for a house Sit Job on acreage & still close enough to shops this is a great area to stay.
