South Eastern Victoria - Lakes & Wilderness

I am looking for a tidy, non-smoker house / pet sitter for 10 days in May.
My house is a clean, large, comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located in a quiet street 200 m from lake and public reserve with great walking paths.
There is a good boat ramp in Newlands Arm about 1km away. Excellent golf course or lawn bowls are just 10 minute drive away and the wild life of Raymond Island (lots of koalas) a 15 minute drive to the ferry in Paynesville.
Shopping / supermarket / cafes / doctor etc. are 10 - 15 km away in Paynesville or Bairnsdale.

Pet care would also be required for 2 friendly gentle dogs. 1 greyhound - 12 yrs old - who can be timid of strangers at first & 1 friendly whippet (with a bit of border collie) - 9 yrs old. Both love going for walks and there is a lovely walking track along the lakefront but they are also happy just being lounge lizards (outside) or playing in the yard. I also have 2 cats who can be in the house with you or have their own room at one end of the house with outside access.
There is also 1 bird - Taco the Quaker parrot, who has an inside "sleeping cage" and an outside cage for most of the day after having a fly around the house.

Other - Collect mail , keep house clean & tidy
and water garden if necessary but I'm not a fanatical gardener!

This was the first time I'd looked after so many pets, but Liz has looking after them down to a fine art, and made it a breeze for me with thorough instructions. Her house is lovely with a well-stocked kitchen and in such a beautiful location! It truly was a treat to walk the dogs every day by the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our sit at Liz's very comfortable home, with lovely manicured gardens. It is perfectly situated only 100m from Gippsland Lake Reserve in Newlands Arms which is a quiet town, close to Paynseville and Raymond Island (Koala reserve). Kasane and Zola are such beautiful girls, and loved spending time with us and Teesha and Lucy were happy to do their thing, mostly sleeping! A lovely house in a lovely neighbourhood in a beautiful location! Thank you Liz for giving us the opportunity to care of your home and much loved pets. We will miss Zola and Kasane so much, they are two very special ladies and we enjoyed our walks along the lake front. Liz's cats, Lucy and Teesha were no trouble at all and then there was Taco who was such a character and certainly kept us entertained. Liz was very welcoming and we loved our little stay at Newlands Arm.

Our sit for Liz and her pets was lovely. Liz was very friendly and welcoming and has a large, tidy home with nice garden outlooks in a great location close to the lake. The cats were friendly and easy care. The dogs were gorgeous and easygoing and enjoyed their walks around the picturesque area.
