Hi we are seeking a couple to look after our cattle we have 20 heifers in calf and a gentle quiet bull. also a cat. Need to have cattle experience will suit a country loving couple, this property is in
Ellenborough its in the hinterland having 240 acres with flat and undulating paddocks rising up to our forest on the mountain. There is a river for swiming/fishing a local pub.resturant & general store & hot takeaway food /cafe.
Its 25 mins to Wauchope town, 55mins to Port Macquarie City and. stunning beaches..
We need carers to top up water troughs, open & call cattle to new paddocks then close gate.. Need experience with cattle in case they need any care. Feed cat and cuddle her. & Feed /water chickens. Maybe occasional small tasks like watering plants or may need a sit n ride mower if a long stay. We are happy to be here to show you for a day or so before we go away.
Accommodation there is a either a detached cottage fully furnished & equipped 1 bedroom, raked ceiling lounge/diner kitchen, bedroom ensuite A/con. Or you can bring your own RV or Caravan. A shower room with floating vanity wc and washing machine is available for you..

So enjoyed this farmsit on this beautiful property. Wendy and Jeff ensured we were familiar with the run of the farm and their heifers who were beginning calving. And one healthy little calf was born on our watch!
We had several phone conversations before we came and Wendy sent videos of the property.
Lovely, clean, well-equipped cottage to stay in with beautiful views of the mountains.
