Meadow Springs WA

Our home is located in Meadow Springs, just north of Mandurah. We are a 5-minute drive from the beach. Beaches include Madora Bay, San Remo, and Watersun Beach. We are an 8-minute drive to the Mandurah Foreshore and a 9-minute drive to the Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre. Meadow Springs has it's own local shopping centre as well as other shopping centres along Mandurah Road. There is access to public transport with bus stops on our street, which services Mandurah and Lakelands stations and shops.

Our home is a single-story, so there are no stairs to worry about. The front garden area is enclosed with a gate, and the dogs can be left out in the front garden for a change. The back garden is also fenced and has a side gate. This is the gate to take the bins out, ready for collection.

We only have a small grassy area at the back and front of the house that would only need to be mowed a few times, depending on grass growth. The lawns, garden beds, and hanging baskets are all reticulated, so there shouldn't be a need to water the garden unless there is a power cut. Weeding is to be done when needed.

We have two dogs, Jack (14) and Mitzy (7), who love going for walks around the neighbourhood, the beach, or the bush. Jack is a Jack Russell X, and Mitzy is an Australian Terrier. Jack sleeps inside, and Mitzy sleeps outside because she has a habit of going to the toilet in the house, even though there is a dog door in the laundry door security door that is always locked. We give them biscuits in the morning and tin dog food in the evening. The dogs can go into the lounge room, but not in the lounge suite.
