Alstonville NSW

Our family of 6 live in a beautiful renovated original timber cottage home in Alstonville, just a short walk into town where there is a great pub, multiple cafes, butcher and plaza.

We have a gorgeous 8 year old sausage dog called Winnie who loves cuddles, company and walks (on her own route!).. she will absolutely find her way into your bed too..

Winnie is an anxious dog with specific idiosyncrasies, which are exacerbated if left alone frequently. For this reason we ask that people only apply who are familiar and comfortable with anxious pets and are not planning on leaving multiple times a day, especially at night time. We promise this does not mean you are house bound - just a friendly way of saying that this is probably not for travellers wishing to spend the days exploring and coming back at night time. Winnie does love the beach and nature, but she is not a cafe dog nor does she enjoy busy places with lots of people / kids or bikes!

We have a beautiful big tropical garden, and some chickens too — extremely low maintenance care required but delicious eggs for your enjoyment.

Any garden pruning or work is a bonus. Our garden is quite a pleasure to work in with all its native plants and palms.

We are off to Bali for a family adventure and unfortunately we have to leave our Winnie behind so having wonderful carers for her is paramount. We also hope to have a single or couple who are extremely house proud and will respect our house rules of care as we adore our home and take great pride in our recent renovation and the things we own.
