Robyn

Meet Blaze, she is the most gorgeous loveable girl. First meeting Blaze she is boisterous and barks, however she settles down (especially when we are not around) and if you play ball with her.

We are requiring an active single/couple to look after our nearly 4 year old Heeler cross, Blaze. Must be confident in handling a dog who is quite strong. Blaze loves playing ball, enjoys her walks and loves being with you. She loves helping you, even if you may not need help!
Blaze is an indoor dog, needs to be with you, touching you and loves a cuddle.
As my husband is retired and I work part-time, Blaze, is used to us being with her constantly, leaving her only for a few hours at a time.

Also, we have chickens, providing lovely fresh eggs.

We are on 6 acres, 4 kms from Millicent, 50 kms from Mount Gambier - half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Close to the coastal towns and the Coonwarra wine region.

The house is 4 bedrooms with a sunroom to read and relax in our recliner chairs, excellent for craftwork/reading/crossword etc and/or enjoy your breakfast and lunch.
House has ducted air conditioning, on rainwater, septic tank, lovely outdoor entertainment area plus a woodfire pizza oven.

We really enjoyed our stay in Millicent. Robyn & Gary were very welcoming & we enjoyed a very pleasant evening with them before they left. Blaze was very easy to look after & was your best friend after you'd thrown a few balls for her, but part of the game was for her to hide them, so you'd have to find another ball!! She was very affectionate & loved to curl up beside you on the sofa.. We enjoyed lots of fresh eggs & the chooks were easy to look after. We highly recommend this sit, especially ... MORE

EDDIE (Dec 2023 - 1 week 1 night)
Thank you for your lovely review, we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
Robyn & Garry were very pleasant & welcoming & remained communicative throughout my stay. They had made a very comprehensive reference manual that simplified/addressed expectations. I felt very comfortable & warm for the duration of my stay. Blaze was great company. I would have attempted a 'doggie napping' situation but I don't think being contained in my motorhome would have agreed with her. Thnx guyz

PAMELA (Jul 2023 - 1 week 4 nights)
I enjoyed my stay on Robyns lovely acerage property and had great communications throughout, their home is spacious with great heating which i appreciated, close to town & beach, but peacful. I enjoyed walking Blaze who likes to do things with you, especially feeding the chickens, I felt very protected being there with Blaze.

SUE (May 2023 - 9 days)
We had a great time at Robyn and Gary's home, looking after Blaze & their chooks. We joined them the night before and enjoyed their generous hospitality. Robyn & Gary gave us an thorough induction of their property & how to care for their "family". They also had prepared a comprehensive info folder. Their home is well appointed, very comfortable & easy to look after. Blaze kept us fit with lots of walks and playing ball. She bonded well with us & often went with us in the car for ... MORE

We had a wonderful house sit at Robyn and Gary's home. Their hospitality was fantastic, with a very comfortable and spacious home. Super communication from start to finish, and we were provided lots of details in a book. Blaze there dog was a joy to look after and easy to care for. Friendly nature. We would highly recommend this house sit to anyone interested,

ROB (Apr 2022 - 6 days)
Great house, great location, great owners. Jo and I thoroughly enjoyed playing farmers for the time spent at Robyn and Garys property. The chooks were friendly and a great source of food. The property is located on the outskirts of Millicent and just a short drive to the coast and the wineries of the Coonawarra region.

ROGER (Sep 2019 - 1 month 3 weeks)
A lovely welcoming home where Mia, a very intelligent beagle, will nurture you gently through the daily routine of simple tasks from dawn to dusk.
