Ellie
We have a nice house and 2 Labradors called Sunny and Hugh and a cat called Moki.
Our dogs will be 15mths old in June 2024 and are relatively chilled despite being puppies still. They crate-sleep approx 7pm to 7am, walk for about 40-60 mins in the morning and are very friendly.
Our cat is fun and mainly independent and indoors at night. She stays close to home during the day, but must be put inside by about 5pm.
All have routines for feeding and are reasonably well behaved.
I am not out for more than 5-6 hours at a time, and generally keep the same routine each day with them. e.g. timing of feeding, walking and sleeping.
The dogs have paid daycare once a week (which I’ll continue whilst away) if that would be useful.
We had a wonderful time looking after Ellie’s lovely home and gorgeous creatures. Sunny and Hugh are lots of fun with very affectionate natures. Moki the cat is very sweet and tries to keep the boys in line. The communication was great with Ellie and we’d happily housesit for her again.
Ellie has a lovely family home in the nice area of Ivanhoe, in inner Melbourne. The pets are great, Ronan the dog is like all Labradors, very gentle and easy to look after and great company. The three cats do their own thing but will play inside or appear at meal times. A really nice place to sit, and nice pets. Recommend to all sitters.
Care for someone else's pets, go for walks in a brand new place... Surprise yourself and expand your horizons.
