Mount Egerton VIC

We have a small hobby farm (22 acres) with a handful of sheep, goats, chickens, Lowline cows and horses. Mostly the animals look after themselves (although they might like a bite of hay if its cold), but the chickens like a meal each day. Our neighbours are real farmers and are always ready to help or take the lead. We also have people to assist with the horses, and even the mowing if necessary.

What we are hunting for is an extraordinary, confident, person or couple whom we can trust with our menagerie of house mates: Alfie our own toy white poodle, and our four legged grand-babies who came to live with us after their Mum, our beautiful daughter Stephanie died suddenly in March 2022: Ludo and April (Black mini and Red standard poodles), Evie and Zippy (Russian Blue cats), and Errol and Kofi (budgies). Evie, Zippy and the birds live in the farm cottage, not the main house.
We are incredibly protective of Steph's family entrusted to us so you need to be ready to open your hearts to us and them. They are 'on-the sofa' inside dogs (mostly!) April can be nervous so you need to be able to reassure her that all is well.
We would like the dogs to meet you before sitting began so more local sitters would be preferred. Our dates are fixed dates but we could use the cottage if there is an overlap of time and you need to come to us before we leave: you would have the modern, attractive four bed main house as your accomodation.
It will be winter so the lawn shouldn't grow much but if you can use a ride on mower, fantastic.
