Contact us to find out more about where you’ll be staying. We actually live in the small converted dairy but you’ll feel more at home in the main house.

We have two lovely dogs - Eddi 4 yrs old a very loving deerhound X and Dougie who’s nearly 2 is a stumpy tailed cattle dog and full of beans - both are rescues. We also have a very cruisey 14yr old cat (who may not be around : ( ).

The dogs are ‘usually’ well behaved and have a routine. They love nothing more that running in the paddock together and lazing around once they’ve burnt off their energy.

I would love someone that is a dog trainer to allow for further development. We have had a few house sitters in the past that have spoiled our dogs and it’s always hard to come back and get them out of new habits eg, they don’t get human food but if one corner of the sandwich is given - we now have a pooch sitting at your feet waiting for it ; ) If you get this - you’re the person/people we want!

Doug can be reactive and will have a bark at people on the bike trail and he’s very excitable if new people come in. They both have all their manners but he just needs reminding every now and then. Both are very treat driven.

Ideally you’ll be home most of the time. They’re fine to be left alone for a few hours after they’ve burnt their energy - neither are destructive.

Oh, there’s also 5 chickens that would need feeding every other day ; )
