We need a house sitter

South Coast

We live on 60 acres overlooking Wagonga Inlet over to Narooma and out to the ocean. We are looking for someone to keep our (3) dogs company and walk them each day as well as looking after the chickens (5 at present) and making sure the sheep and steers have water - the garden might need watering. The house is not suitable for small children The township is 6km away and has a cinema,, supermarket, swimming pool and, apparently, the fishing is second to none both in the inlet and off shore so you are welcome to bring your boat. . Narooma Golf Course is also well known for its beauty. Wonderful views and quiet location.

We house sat for Clare and Mike for about 6 weeks where we were required to care for 3 dogs, who were walked each day on a local beach, sheep and chooks and "do as much or as little as we wish" of gardening. Their home is situated with a beautiful view of the lake and a short distance to beaches, shopping centres, restaurants and clubs together with being close to the many tourist attractions of the south coast e.g. Montague Island and Tilba Tilba . Well here we are the last day of our sit in beautiful Narooma. Claire and Mike welcomed us on our arrival, spent time showing us all the ins and outs, introducing us to their lovely dogs, Hurtle, Tuppence and Banjo. 3 absolute sweeties. Claire left us clear written instructions, contact numbers and email details prior to them leaving for the UK. After a saddening drama with a sick Ewe that eventually had to be euthanased and then buried, we got on with exploring the amazing beaches with 5 ... MORE
