Serenity personified- Your own private Garden of Eden (but with cats) We are looking for a lovely single/ solo house sitter who would like to rest and relax with our 6 cats on our beautiful, serene, 3 acre property. Non smoker, non or social drinker.
Westfield is just a 10 minute drive away, and you'll be 20 minutes drive from the beach, however you'll feel like you're away from it all in the country in our secluded hideaway of a home. There are so many spaces to sit and read a book, do a puzzle, have a picnic, meditate etc. or just kick back and swim or laze by the pool. The birds are the only rowdy noises around.
We are especially looking for someone who understands cats. We have 6. 2 of our little feline boys (Furgus and Tango) can get anxious with new people and may spray in a few places as they adjust to having you around, but with patience and understanding (and some enzyme spray to fix the odd small puddle) they love attention and will accompany you around the house and enjoy hanging out on your lap. Our other boy, Onyx is a purr and cuddle machine who may even play fetch with his favourite toy for you. The 3 feline girls are love bugs and all 6 love to play - when they feel like it. Otherwise they’re just happy to laze around the house. If you "speak cat" you'll understand :-) Four are about 6 years old and Onyx and Amber will be almost 2 years old. All rescue cats, they are indoor only, with a couple of large, enclosed outdoor zones to play and relax and a wall of shelves to hang out and jump around on. They are usually fed morning and evening around 6-6:30am and pm and you will need to scoop their litter boxes just after they've eaten (twice per day). We would love you to send us any cute pics or videos you get of them while we're away.
My mother lives in a separate duplex style house next door on the same property two double garages away, so if there are any questions help is just a door knock away if you want it.
We have Netflix, Stan, Disney and Prime logged in and wifi available. It's a Google home, so voice commands are also available (for the tech savvy).
We are happy for you to use anything in the pantry, as long as you leave us a note so we know what to replace.
Security cameras- There's one out the front of the garages, one on the cat zone out back and one in the main bedroom on the other side of the house from where you're staying (We check in occasionally to watch the cats laying in the window in the sun-crazy cat people!)
