♻️ WE’VE JUMPED THE FENCE!
HOUSESIT WANTED
📍 Australia wide
After almost a decade of successful Airbnb and Housesit Hosting, we have decided to jump across to the other side and become helpful housesitters.
💰 We prefer to pay toward bills, and if there is minimal pet and home maintenance we are happy to pay toward the stay also.
My partner works fifo, and I also spend a ridiculous amount of time traveling interstate for work (I’m a management consultant working in Tech Implementation so can work remote). We typically spend R&R weeks every second month in Indonesia, and in between trips for work and leisure last year realised that we were only at home in Melbourne for 16 weeks!
So - we’ve decided to take the plunge. Rather than have an empty house sitting there or go through the stress of juggling multiple Airbnb bookings whilst away, we have sold up with our next big adventure planned for 2025.
We love to see new places and are keen animal lovers, and have some gaps where we are available to take care of other’s homes and pets.
🧼 We understand the struggle of last minute cancellations, houses left messy or bad communication - so rest assured you will only receive the best service from us. I always bring a professional cleaner through on vacate day to make sure your home is sparkling and ready for your return.
🐶🦆🐰 I have lifetime experience rearing, keeping, and breeding animals including Guinea pigs, rabbits, large & small breed dogs, ferrets, parrots (large and small), fish (freshwater tanks only so far), turtles, rats, pigs, chickens, ducks, even had a turkey and a llama! I do garden so can take care of your veggie patch, I love nothing more than watching the sunrise over a beach or paddock while I check the gardens and let the chooks out.
We love hiking and trails, the ocean (surf and paddle board), and the mountains. We will be absolutely happy anywhere!
Police and Working With Children full checks available.
*IMPORTANT* We have not ticked our pet as this opens us up to more search filters. We do have a Greyhound x named Lincoln who travels with us, however he has a widespread family of dogsitter friends that he visits when we are overseas, and he can also stay there if a short or ideally located sit comes up for the human family only. Please feel free to enquire about Lincoln if you have specific requirements - if your ad says pets allowed we will bring him along. If your ad says no pets, we will confirm with you and book him in for an extended playdate with one of his many friends. Lincoln is a big sweetie - he's friendly and loves other dogs, is terrified of cats, loves to stare and sniff at chickens, and after a short morning sprint at the park or beach in the morning will spend the rest of the day sleeping like a log. He comes with his own bed and bedding, his own food bowls, and leads etc. Even though he doesn't shed much we also carry extra clean sheets to cover rugs or furniture (if he's allowed) to ensure no trace.
