Ellen & Matt Hodson

Hey! We’re Matt and Ellen, a young couple from the UK who have recently settled in sunny Brisbane. We are an outgoing couple who love to explore new areas of Australia and spend our weekends/ school holidays in new places.

We are clean, tidy and respectful of every home that we enter. We are happy to maintain any house plant or gardens too if required. In our spare time you’ll find us running at our local Parkrun, out walking, cooking or finding the best coffee spots!

We both love furry friends and consider ourselves as “dog people”! Ellen is unfortunately allergic to cats but we are open to caring for any other pets or animals that might need looking after. Ellen grew up with dogs and rabbits and we both have heaps of experience caring for them in the UK - we can’t wait for the day that we get our own! We will always do our best to give your furry friends as much love and attention as they need. We both have lots of energy for walks and playing, but also happy to sit back and chill if that’s what your pet prefers too.

Matt is a Maths teacher at a Secondary School in Brisbane, so has undertaken all relevant Queensland teacher and Police checks. Ellen works in marketing for a travel company, with occasional work from home days.

We will be looking for house sitting jobs to fit around our lives, on weekends and school holidays. We’re excited to see where house sitting takes us, and look forward to meeting you and your furry friends along the way!
