Hi, we are Susie & Gary,
We are now retired & are lucky enough to be able to travel & do some work via internet along the way. Our house sitting journey started just over 9 years ago & since then we have enjoyed many wonderful house sitting assignments. We are looking forward to continue on our journey & meet many more new friendly home owners & pets along the way.
We would like to bring our experience in property & pet care along with us as we explore new destinations. Although we do love to travel, we also enjoy being in a friendly home environment and taking the time to explore all that the local area has to offer, & of course if you have pets, then we most certainly look forward to their company !
We love animals & wildlife & have a long experience in caring for dogs, cats & farm animals. Unfortunately, we no longer have our own pets, so we would welcome the opportunity to care for yours.
Over the years we have also had extensive experience in house & garden maintenance having renovated our own properties & also as sitters, we have cared for a number of different types of homes ranging from large farms through to smaller homes & units.
We do understand that everyone's home & pets are different & we seriously take this on board & listen to each individual request & we will follow through with meeting your specific requirements while we stay & promise to keep you updated while you are away.
The opportunity to become your house sitters would be a great privilege & something we would not take for granted, as we both understand it is a necessity to respect your house & property & keep it well maintained while in residence.

Garry and Susie were fabulous to have looking after our two dogs and farm. Great communication in the lead up and during their stay. We returned and Garry had logged plenty of hours on the ride on mower ensuring the house looked fabulous. The house was left sparkling clean on the inside and Burton and Frankie our two dogs clearly enjoyed the attention they received.

This is the 2nd time I have had the excellent service of Susie and Gary. My fur baby was again cared for superbly. As she is getting older 11 there can be some health alerts and there were. Susie and Gary handled it all very very well, so blessed to have caring people look after my fur baby. My home again was left immaculate, nothing out of place. Gary and Susie stayed on much longer (2 months more!) than the dates we had booked them for, by mutual agreement. That meant that they had 'spring yard duties' to attend to and Gary was very diligent mowing, spraying orchard trees, whipper-snippering and weeding. Our yard has never looked better! We have a senior pup who requires daily medication and this was handled perfectly. I can only describe Gary and Susie as brilliant and caring sitters. My main concern was my constant companion my darling little dog. I can say she was beautifully cared for, spoilt, and was given all the attention she required. My house was left in excellent condition, spotless nothing out of place.

Susie and Gary spent a week at our home looking after our beautiful old LabX hound and we couldn't be happier! They took the time to meet us before our housesit, they asked all the right questions and were super friendly and great to chat with! On arriving home we found our hound very contented and our home clean and tidy - such a great end to our time away. 5 stars!
Susie and Gary were easy to communicate with and left almost no indication that they had even been in our house. The only giveaway was that our bird was still healthy and happy. They even brought their own linen so they didn't leave behind any washing.
I would happily recommend them as house sitters, and will be contacting them next time we go away.

This is the first time we have used this type of service and were nervous about the whole concept - However, with Susie's and Garry's capable approach we were at ease immediately. After 9 weeks away we returned to an immaculate house, healthy pets and plants - above and beyond expectations. They capably solved a potentialy major sewerage problem with the house and kept us informed when required. Top job guys - fully recommend to anyone.

Susie & Gary house sat for me while I was away. They were very professional & reliable. My 2 dogs were taken care of very well. Under extreme heat they did the best they can to maintain the garden. The house was left clean. I am very grateful to Susie & Gary.
Susie and Gary house sat for us over Christmas and New Year and did a wonderful job. They looked after our cat, fish, house and garden so well. They kept in contact with us and I always felt 100% comfortable with them.
When we arrived home the house was spotless, grass mowed and the cat happy.
They thoughtfully had left us with some food essentials and some bath products to use after our long flights.
I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.
Susie and Gary were booked in early and they stayed in regular contact until the sit. Like we asked they arrived the day before we left to go through the feed routines for the dog, cats, chooks, wild birds, possums and our two horses. They left a couple of hours before we arrived home, and were in contact before and after we arrived home. All the animals were happy and well fed.
Susie and Gary did a wonderful job looking after our two dogs and bird while we were on holiday. The animals were well looked after and our home was spotless when we returned (much cleaner than we left it). We were sent updates while we were away and they even included a few photos for us.

Susie and Gary were fabulous house sitters. The house was left spotless and the garden and pool were well looked after. They kept in contact with us each week and came to meet us several weeks before we went away, so we felt confident leaving them in our house. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were very happy with the way Susie and Gary looked after our dog and house for a fortnight when we went away. Our dog is very old and has numerous medical conditions and when we returned he seemed very relaxed and content which must mean that he felt comfortable with Susie and Gary.

Susie and Gary were absolutely wonderful pet sitters. They stayed in our home for 5 weeks and cared for our two toy poodles (spoilt brats!!!) and our son's blue heeler who was recovering from knee surgery. Gary took Jacko for a short walk each day to help his recovery and both Susie and Gary administered his medicine. Susie and Gary house sat my rural place with all its animals for a week, and did a wonderful job. I came home to happy, fit animals and a clean house, and mown lawns. They were keen to do get all the information they needed, and did a terrific job. I am very happy to act as a referee, and highly recommend them.

We left them our home on acreage, a 6 month old energetic puppy, pool, extensive gardens, cows, horse, birds and fish, plus heatwave conditions for a month. Susie and Gary looked after our dog and temprimental cat for 2 weeks.
They seemed to take it all in their stride, letting themselves into the house and following all the instructions. They didn't have any issues while we were aware and animals look very happy and well cared for.

Susie and Gary house sat for us for 6 weeks from early December 2016. We left for our holiday with no worries and confident our house and two cats would be looked after. Susie and Gary emailed updates. On our arrival home, the house was spotless, cats happy and garden going well, especially since there had been heatwave temperatures. Our home, dog and chickens were wonderfully cared for.
Our dog had a Paralysis Tick which Susie detected and had an emergency night time trip to the vet, where the dog spent three nights in care. With Susie's ongoing care at home the dog made a full recovery.

We recently enjoyed a seven week trip to Europe and this was the first time we have used a house sitting service.
We chose Susie and Gary partly as they had extensive experience and we were new to the process.
We are delighted that we made that choice. Susie gave us lots of information and tips at our first meeting. Our main concern was that our 10 year old dog Rosie would be happy during our trip away and Susie quickly bonded with her,obviously enjoying having a dog around.

I can highly recommend Susie as a house-sitter. The greatest care was taken of both my Shetland Sheepdogs; in particular Kimba who can bit a little fragile. We had Susie & Gary come and stay for 3 nights in March 2015.
