My primary goal is to minimise the stress and anxiety of your pets while their humans are away. They are my main focus! Their routine is important and I'll maintain it to the best of my ability. I have an affinity with animals (more so than people) and have spent my life around dogs, cats, goats, horses, birds, chickens, sheep, ducks, fish, etc.

Your house is your castle and I will treat it as such. You can expect to find it as you leave it. As a standard, I will collect your mail, take out the bins, use my own toiletries and food, minimise the use of ALL utilities, clean my areas of use, and water plants, etc. We can chat about your additional or specific requirements.

As an introverted neurodivergent writer, I can "work" anywhere and prefer to stay home with animals rather than be 'social'. The bonus for you is that that means I can be in the presence of your pets and ensure that there is someone in your house most of the time. I don't have a car so close public transport access is handy though not necessary (groceries can be delivered). I've never driven - I am adept at getting around, love to walk/run, shop online, and have Uber and Taxi apps at the ready.

Kai was everything I needed in a house sitter - they communicated promptly & effectively straight up. We met to discuss requirements and they sent a few photos during the stay to keep me updated. My kitty, my house & garden looked well cared for and was immaculate upon my return. I would recommend Kai highly and am hopeful to have Kai sit again in the future where available.

We were so lucky to meet Kai. They were responsive, organised and reliable with preliminary meeting, communication and sit admin. Kai is very skilled with animals, and patiently won our fur babies over with their kind, calm energy and attentive care. We could see from the daily updates that everyone was chill and comfortable in our absence, and we came home to relaxed and happy animals and a very clean house. We hope to book Kai again.

They sent photos of our pets & kept us informed of how they were. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing everything was ok back home. Kai, is friendly and easy to talk to and was excellent looking after my fur kids Poppy and Oscar and my house. I would highly recommend Kai to anyone and welcome her back any time. She did a great job, my dogs loved her.

This was our first pet sitting experience, so was extremely anxious to leave our dogs with a stranger. Kai was absolutely fabulous, they research how to work with anxious dogs and took the time to analyse how to make my dogs feel comfortable. Kai came to visit the dogs before the sit started which made them feel more comfortable. Kai sent daily updates which funny memes of them and photos to me whilst I was overseas. My house was left spotless on our return. Highly recommend Kai

Kai is hands down the best sitter I have had/will ever have. They respected our 3 babies and our house like theirs. Kai is also very organised and will note down every single details about the animals and the house their care for and execute them as agreed. Not to mention we have become friends and I can't wait to catch up with them again for some more of their interesting stories, and for them to ease my anxiety. Kai is such a lovely and considerate house sittter who is very organised and thorough. Karen is the most beautiful caring person. She kept in contact with photos and Txts.
