We are a fit and active couple of partly-retired, senior New Zealanders, and extremely "well-trained" house sitters. While new to Aussie Housesitters we have been doing regular house sitting in NZ and the UK over the past 15 years (with Kiwi Housesitters and UK Housesitters, which are 'sister -sites' with Aussie Housesitters).

We've lost count of the number of homes we've looked after, dogs walked, cats cuddled, livestock moved, ducks/chickens fed and watered, gardens tended and lawns mowed etc. We love travelling and exploring new places, and find that house and pet sitting gives us the chance to get to know them well, and meet some fabulous homeowners and their furry or feathered families. Some of the people whose homes we have cared for have reported that the "cats didn't even miss us" or "our dog is still waiting around for the interesting kind of walks you took her on"!

We know that it is a big undertaking to entrust your home and pets to the care of someone you don't know - especially when we live out of Australia. However, we have done this for many housesits in the UK and NZ, and can have Skype/Facetime conversations. We assure you we will care for your home and 'families' as if they were our own. We have several references from house owners attached to this profile. If you would like to speak to a referee, to reassure you about our background and ability to look after your home and pet/s in the best possible way, that could be arranged.
