We are a retired professional couple in our early 60's who have been living on a sail boat for the past 10 years in Greece. We are now back in Australia for a couple of years before we set off again on our next adventure.

We have previously owned our own organic / biodynamic tropical fruit orchard and a large property in the rainforest in far north Queensland. We are keen gardeners. We are very familiar with the use of ride-on mowers, tractors and all types of gardening implements.

We have also been wildlife carers and raised many wallabies, pademelons and possums.

Gerhard, who was born in Austria, grew up on a winery with their own vineyards. Sheree was born in Sydney.

We met working in Cairns many years ago. We then headed to Vienna where we lived and worked for 10 years. Gerhard managed a construction & development company and Sheree worked at the United Nations.

We have no pets of our own now but we have had many cats, dogs and wildlife in the past. We are very comfortable around all sorts of animals.

We have our own transport.

We have completed many housesits and received great reviews. We are very reliable and particularly like to ensure home owners have a relaxed, stress-free time away, knowing we are looking after their homes and pets. We will provide regular updates and photos while you are away.

We are very tidy and clean, fit, active and non smokers.

Sheree and Gerhard were amazing house sitters. Our Frenchie Tana was very well looked after and the house was left in immaculate condition when we returned. We were given regular updates on Tana including picture’s which was lovely. Thankyou for loving our boy while we were away.

Sheree and Gerhard were wonderful sitters. They looked after our garden perfectly and most importantly looked after our cocker spaniel, who is needy and gets anxious if left alone. Joey just loved them and thrived under their care. When we arrived home the house was spotless and in perfect order. Thank you so much Sheree for being such great house sitters! XX

We received pics of Oscar and how he was doing while we were travelling which was much appreciated. We have a common thread in sailing so we will stay in contact I'm sure. They were able to come and meet us and our dog Bear on their way through to another house sit, which was great because it was our first time with house sitters and we weren't sure how Bear would be, but he took to them straight away. Cherie and Gerhard were a very good 'fit' for us as Housesitters. Daisy certainly took to them very quickly and it is true she is a smoocher! They kept the gardens and greenhouse well watered and left our house immaculately. I would certainly recommend Cherie and Gerhard for any potential housesitting assignments and guarantee that you would be well satisfied with their minding.

Wow! Sheree and Gerhard were the perfect sitters. It was only a short 5 day sit, but they allowed me to get away and worry about nothing. Excellent communicators and they even visited earlier so that we could get to know each other and our needs better. They were great with Nelson. Clean, tidy, innovative and very trustworthy.
