As a professional housesitter, the biggest concern I hear from home owners is trying to find someone who is not only extremely competent, reliable, trustworthy, clean and tidy with their house, professional yet easy going and a pleasure to connect and interact with, but also infinitely loving and caring towards their beloved furry (and feathery) family members.

I feel humbled and deeply honoured to be a housesitter, aspiring constantly to all of the above, genuinely loving what I do as a housesitter and actively pursuing housesitting as a conscious life choice. The notion of being able to travel and meet new people, experience new things and make new friends and connections, meet what so often turn out to feel like my little furry soul mates, in a homely space that someone has so kindly entrusted me with is something that humbles me greatly and I cherish dearly.

In my line of work as a Self-Awareness/Mindfulness Coach online, I work mostly from home, conducting meetings online and developing online trainings, so I tend to be home a lot during the days (and nights) which I find is a great relief for home owners looking for some added security for their home in addition to maximum companionship for their loved ones.

I also enjoy specialising in caring for animals with nervousness and anxiety as, especially working in the field of mental health and wellness, I am trauma informed and understand the sensitivity, mindfulness and loving care required to calm and soothe animals (and humans!) with this type of nervous conditioning.

My house/pet-sitting experience since 2008 has included looking after:

Dogs of all ages and sizes (from 6 week old puppies to energetic Great Dane sized hounds!)
Cats
Birds
Snakes & lizards
Horses
Chooks (chickens)
Peacocks
Rabbits
Guinea Pigs
Fish
Quenda!! (Native wallaby-like marsupials - I wasn't technically looking after this one; we became friends over time and handfuls of nuts. ;) )
Maintaining luscious vegetable and landscape/flower gardens (I greatly enjoy the meditative and nurturing aspects of connecting with nature)
Maintaining swimming pools and pumps, keeping them clean and running smoothly.

In regards to property care, to me a person's home is their haven/sanctuary and I feel humbled every time a new home owner entrusts me with the keys to their castle. I treat any space in which I live or work as my own, bringing a clean, tidy and respectful approach to my living space, always aspiring to leave the place in better condition than when I found it.

I am fortunate to be fit, healthy and physically capable. I do not smoke or drink and like to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle.
