Based in Cairns, but currently living the nomadic lifestyle, exploring , enjoying adventures and wildlife encounters whilst working online with our ethical travel agency: Tree Hugger Travel and eco store Earth Turtle

Our experience:

> Tina has volunteered at Carins Turtle Rehabiliation Centre for 4 years prior to our road trip, caring for various Sea Turtles and giving tours to school groups and famillies.

> Previous experience at RSPCA Queensland and RSPCA Cornwall, UK. Walking and caring for dogs and cats of various breeds!

> We both volunteered at Wildlife Rescue in Cairns, taking phone calls for injured wildlife. On call rescues and releases.

> John has a variety of experience with birds, reptiles, cats and dogs and is great with other pets too.

> Tina has previously worked on an animal farm park for 4 years, a Vet Practice in the UK then lived & worked on a sheep and vegetable farm in NZ for 3 years.

We are clean, tidy and friendly people who treat all aniamls like our own and enjoy caring for every animal we look after.

We had a wonderful experience with Tina & John. A lovely couple who recently cared for our dog and house. They are caring, responsible and a joy to deal with. Our dog Lesley adored them and bonded easily. Our property was also well cared. for. We would have no hesitation in using them again and would recommend them highly!

No rating Tina and John were fantastic house sitters. We would not even question having them again. The house was just as we left when we returned. Animals and gardens all cared for. Very lovely couple and would be happy to recommend this couple to anyone. Hope to get you again !!!!!

What a great experience for our first housesitters! Tina and John came highly recommended by a friend and worked out great. They were reliable, flexible and friendly along with any other qualities you may want of a house-sitter. They took on a weird and somewhat sick cat with confidence and did a great job of feeding her back to health. Would use them again any time and happy to give references, thanks Tina and John!

We were so lucky to have scored Tina and John for a weekend house and pet sitting gig. We happily would have let them sit longer. They were great to communicate and ease my mind given it was my first experience with this website. Upon meeting them I was relieved and happy to leave my babies (dogs) in their care and my home. Tina and john were wonderful.. Came home and the cats were fat, the plants were alive, and all was spotless. Very easy to make arrangements with and extremely accommodating when we had to come back a day early. No hesitation to recommend them.

Tina & John were fantastic. It was our first time leaving Tigger with a house sitter, which was quite nerve racking given he has health problems and requires twice daily medicating, but they made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They communicated with us regularly as the sit was approaching and provided us with regular updates whilst we were away and terribly cute photos of Tigger. I cannot recommend higher John and Tina - my hoarde of animals loved them and they did a splendid job looking after the lot. Not only where the animals well tended but the house was clean and tidy when I arrived home. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone and hope they can sit for me another time.

Tina & John are the very best house sitters that we have ever had!! How lucky we were that they applied to look after our fur babies & our home. We received regular photos and updates while we were away & we came home to a very happy household. Our elderly (19 year old) cat can be very shy at times but immediately demanded their attention so we were very comfortable leaving her in their care as she needs medication twice a day. I was so nervous using this service but Tina and John exceeded all my expectations! Such genuine, caring, friendly and responsible people. I had constant updates and pictures of my two dogs and they were spoilt with walks and affection. I arrived home to a beautifully clean house with sheets changed, veggies thriving, a lovely welcome home note and two very content dogs. I would highly recommend Tina and John to anyone. Tina and John recently house and dog sat for us we were immediately relaxed when meeting. We were also relieved when we received regular text messages with pictures of our dog looking very happy. On our return our home was immaculate and our dog healthy and happy. We would always welcome Tina and John back for future housesitting and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best. Tina and John are a beautiful couple with big hearts. They took care and loved our fur babies very well. They cared for our home and thank you for filling the wood box and emptying the ash John. I would not hesitate to rrecommend.

Tina and John were absolutely lovely, and took great care of our home and fur babies while we were away. The house was left amazingly tidy when we got home, and all contact between us was very quick and easy. They were also very flexible with our needs. We hope they are available next time we go away, as we would love to have Tina and John house sit for us again, and I'm sure our fur babies would too! Thank you so much!

Tina and John were fabulous house sitters. Such a lovely couple and very interesting with their work - environmentally focussed, making a difference. They arrived in their van the evening before which was a bonus as I had better opportunity to go over everything and get to know these charming people. Tina and John were the best housesitters ever :) it was almost upsetting to watch Ringo jump up every few minutes after they left to see if they were coming back.....she actually cried when she realised they had actually gone :( On my return the house was cleaner than when I left :) Would highly recommend these guys anytime.... Can't thank them enough... In fact they promise to visit us next summer ☀
