  • Having grown up on a farm I have experience working with cattle, sheep, horses and domestic pets. I have previously worked on two different farms helping with lambing which included feeding, watering, bedding and monitoring duties. I have also looked after chickens where I have undertaken duties such as collecting eggs, cleaning out and moving their runs, feeding and watering them. I thoroughly enjoy working with farm animals and learning their personalities and care requirements.

Hello, our names are Lyndsay and Natalie, your friendly housesitting team from Bonnie Scotland! We are best friends with a passion for taking care of pets and homes - we’ll ensure your pets are happy and your home is safe and sound while you are away.

We have had animals all of our lives. Having grown up on a farm, Lyndsay has experience caring for many animals including cats, dogs, horses, fish, and chickens. Lyndsay also has some previous housesitting experience looking after cats, horses and houseplants whilst a neighbour was on holiday. Natalie has grown up in Glasgow where she has cared for small and large dogs as her family pets, including a Mongrel, a Yorkshire Terrier and a very hyperactive Border Collie.

This experience means we are conscious of the individual personalities, needs and wants of different animals. Every pet is unique and we will make sure to follow their routines, feeding schedule, exercise habits and desire for affection as advised by you.

Paired with this practical experience we are both clean, tidy and organised and will keep your home well maintained whilst you are away.

Natalie and Lyndsay were amazing and I cannot thank them enough for the great care they gave our dog, Boots and our house. Regular communication kept us up to date with Boots and the house was left cleaner than when we left (sheets and towels even washed and on the line!). I cannot recommend them enough and would definitely welcome them back again!
