In 2014 we decided it was time to sell our property & hit the road. What a great journey we've had so far caring for pets, homes, rural property's & meeting great people along the way that have become life long friends who we keep in contact with & visit if we're in the area. Animals & the land have always been our passion & still are as is gardening & helping in any way we can as we haven't learnt how to sit & do nothing. We know first hand how hard it is for anyone on the land to take a break & know that everything will be well cared for while there away. We're fit & healthy & up for any challenge. Since 2020 we've been doing repeat house sits so haven't worried about asking for reviews.

What can we say! These people are amazing. They loved our little dog as though she was their own. We were away, they mowed lawns (a big property), trimmed hedges, made us coconut slices to come back home to. It was good to invite them to dinner and stay the night before we left so we could get to know each other, so good that we almost put off our trip to stay home with them. AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, THOUGHTFUL, GENEROUS !!
I would have Pauline and Barry back any time. Such kind, generous and thoughtful people who spoiled our dog while we were away and our kids on our return home. House was immaculate, gardens were well looked after and there is absolutely nothing I can fault. Have already engaged with them to housesit in the future. Barry and Pauline were amazing Housesitters! They looked after our farm and house like it was their own. They provided regular updates and were prompt with any communication. We would have happily had them stay on permanently. They are really lovey people and extremely competent with all jobs. They even got us to give them a list of odd jobs which were done to a better standard than most tradies we have had.

Barry and Pauline went above and beyond expectations, the house was keep beautifully, Harvey ( dog) wanted to leave with them, he was spoiled, but the obedience was kept up, I think Pauline was a bit frustrated with my gardening skills, she even replaced some of my dead plants, and brought back to life some that I thought was dead. They kept up the communications while we were away and had a detailed list of things when we got home, sadly the list did not contain any rain, that was something ... When we walked back through our front door after being an a cruise for 12 days we were so thrilled to see our home sparkling clean, my messy Plastic cupboard all in order, freshly baked bikkies, bread, milk, salad & meat in the fridge for dinner, as they knew it would be late when we arrived home and sitting outside a shimmering clean glass door were our two loved pooches , looking ... When we walked out the back we found that our yard was absolutely immaculate with the lawns beautifully manicured and plants thriving . Our three chooks looked very contented as they scratched about in their pen/run. Barry even sanded a couple of items of furniture back for me as he knew I had planned on doing that when I found time, which may have been months down the track, so thank you so much Barry.
Pauline and Barry sent us pics of our dogs and chooks as they knew we'd be wondering how they were. They walked our dogs every day & also played with them in the yard . They are big dogs and take a lot of energy to walk them, so Pauline and Barry are obviously fit and energetic. I guess the beautifully presented house, manicured yard, happy contented animals , homebaking & little odd jobs so thoughtfully done is testament to that..
Thank you so very much Pauline & Barry , you've been amazing & Danny and I highly recommend you to others who are looking for peace of mind when leaving their home and precious animals when holidaying.

Barry and Pauline house sat for us for nearly 3 weeks looking after our 3 very spoilt high maitenence dogs, chickens & ducks, what beautiful people they are, did a fantastic job , we travel all the time and would love to have them every time!!! From the first conversation we had with these two lovely people we felt more than comfortable about entrusting our home & elderly cat, Bonnie, to their care. I'm sure Bonnie would gladly have made herself at home in their beautiful new van and travelled on with them! We enjoyed Barry & Pauline's ... On their departure Pauline presented us with a beautiful home-baked cake. What's not to like about these two! They were so understanding when I gave them the wrong dates (thanks baby brain) and looked after our house, 2 dogs and horse like they were their own. On the arrival of Barry & Pauline to our home they received not only a welcome from us but from Charlie also. We were able to spend an enjoyable night out with Barry and Pauline before setting off the next day for our time away. Charlie was settled and lots of talking had taken place. On return we were welcomed home with our meal cooked and lots of lovely baking. This was only ... My ailing chard plants had been given a new lease of life, and there were several surprises, such as newly planted spinach seedlings, ...
