Hello! We are trustworthy, reliable responsible NZ professionals and experienced house-sitters. We have cared for our own home and animals on a large section in Kerikeri for the past 15 years. We have two careful and considerate daughters aged 10 and 12 years old. We all love animals (and traveling)! We have two guinea pigs and lots of experience caring for animals including my brother's miniature poodle, Mini who we all adore.

Because we love to travel ourselves, we totally understand the anxiety of having your home and pets cared for while you are away. We are committed to providing your pets with all the attention, love, and care they need. Long walks are welcome. You can also trust that we will follow any special diet or requirement that they may have.

We are very experienced in garden and lawn care, spa and pool maintenance, tank water and on-site sewage systems, ant prevention and pest control. We are also happy to mow lawns.

We are non smokers. In our own home, we always take our shoes off and like to keep things clean and tidy. On your return, you can expect to find your home as clean as you left it, if not cleaner, and with very happy pets.

I really can’t speak highly enough of Melanie & her family. This was our first time having house sitters in our home and looking after our wee dog so we were a tad nervous. Turns out we had no need to be! The communication before, during and after their stay was fabulous, the house and garden were both left in immaculate condition (actually probably better than when we left) and Cleo our dog was clearly well looked after!
