Hi there,

My name is Anna. I am a Melbourne homeowner but relocated to rural QLD near Maryborough on the Fraser Coast mid pandemic. I love the sea so come to Hervey Bay to enjoy breezes, sunsets and swims in the water. I also travel to Melbourne and Brisbane for catch ups and routine appointments.

I would enjoy a quiet place to spend some time and be around animals.

Professionally, I trained and worked as a professional cellist and then as a language teacher which took me to some wonderful places abroad. I now teach somatic movement classes to help people recover from injuries and/or reach peak performance.

I enjoy a quiet lifestyle, am mature and responsible. I like to keep my living environment clean and tidy and will take care of your home as if it were my own. At heart I am a cosy homebody and am hoping this would suit a homeowner looking for extra security while you're away and extra love, attention and care for your pets.

I looked after pets for some years via Pawshake in my own home as well as house sits and had a lot of fun with these beautiful animals. In 2022 I bit the bullet and got myself a puppy. I'm in love. She's a lovely, affectionate King Charles Cavalier and gets on well with other animals.

Currently, I live on a rural horse property with my sister who is a vet so I am very used to caring for all sorts of animals. I work from home and look after our two dogs and Bella the cat.

I know it can be fraught thinking of leaving family animals in the care of someone else and I'd like to reassure you that I aim to make your fur family feel safe and loved. I will keep them in their usual routines and give them some fun and loads of affection during their staycay. That way you can breathe easy during your time away too.

Clare, my vet sister has offered me veterinary advice should there be any emergencies during a housesit stay. Your animals will be in very safe and caring hands. Of course if there were an emergency, I would take them to your own vet but it's nice to know that I can quickly access care I trust if something happened at a time when your vet may not be available.

I am happy to take care of lower energy dogs (and other types of pets) that would love short regular walks or to run in a park and want companionship. They will be showered with attention and affection.

I must admit I don't have a very green thumb but I can water plants in a small garden and am very good at following instructions!

What I am looking for is a comfortable and clean home to relax in and enjoy some animal love while I'm away from home.
