We are a newly retired couple who have been married for 37 years and would like to escape Tasmanian winters on a regular basis without eating into our savings. We always miss our animals and daily walks while we are on holiday so thought house/pet sitting would be perfect for our lifestyle. We would prefer shorter house stays 1/2 weeks as we do love our home in Snug but would like to pop to a warmer climate regularly to break the winter up. We have a Cavoodle named Zuko and chickens. We recently welcomed the arrival of Korra who is a 6month old Burmese kitten and has brought great joy to our family after losing Robbie our 18 year old cream Burmese,
We have three grown adult sons who do not travel with us but live in Snug and take care of our animals while we are away.
We love a swim in a pool or soak in a hot tub (if possible). We are very active and on we holiday we like to spend time playing tennis and pickleball at nearby sports centres.
We both also have Working with vulnerable people cards as we undertake volunteer help in the community
