Mature-Minded, Professional, Experienced House & Pet Sitter!

I am 41 yrs old - a non-smoker - rare/social drinker and vegetarian... At various times, I'm open to shorter and longer sits, in NSW and beyond!!!

Experienced in UK, WA, SA, Vic and NSW, via this and two other sites (with many testimonials). I have cared for a variety of animals, along the coast, in the country and city homes (including semi rural properties with farm animals); mainly dogs, cats, birds, fish, rats, horses, a pony and chickens.

Previously, I house and pet sat on a continuous basis: in addition to having holiday sits in the UK, I pet sat across Sydney (from late 2010 to late 2012) and again when travelling back to NSW from WA (from the end of 2015 to early 2019). I've been available again since mid 2021 and I can provide the specific details in terms of my lifestyle choices in past two years privately.

I do have a personal community of existing/preferred house and pet sits so I'm rejoining Aussie House Sitters as a back up for interesting new sits!

I offer your pets the care-free companionship they require when owners take off for work or pleasure. Being both an animal lover and home-body, I'm dedicated to providing plenty of time to furkids that's as close to their usual home life as accustomed, while ensuring any other needs around a home or property are met; I've taken sits without any meet and greets but I do try to be flexible and meet you in person depending on your location!

I've dealt with flooding, on the waters edge, and encroaching bush fires, out in the country, with respect to liaising with owners and neighbours... and I have assisted with plumbing issues and other emergancy repairs. I have had a couple of sits that were a bit much for me alone (better suited to a partnership) which guides me in terms of what I choose to commit to.

Previously I've house sat whilst travelling, working and/or studying online, had longer sits where I've held a local part time/contract job, but now I'm working online. So coverage for my Optus device or having wifi is needed!

I do come with a little dog and this has not been a problem in securing sits along the way... including pet free sits. I will not take any sits I feel he may not be a good fit for (generally larger dog breeds and cats) but he is well house trained and he can utilize an enclosed yard/garden or be kept on a lead if it's not fenced... he's incredibly adaptable to being in different spaces because I put his, along with the pets and homes I care for, first. I can restrict Sammy to certain rooms and space when I'm home or I'm out.
