We have been happily married for 45 years and are both fussy home owners and responsible, trustworthy adults. We don't intend to be offensive, but we wouldn't be interested in housesitting unless your property is clean, tidy and well-presented both inside and out. We are non-smokers and fully Covid-19 vaccinated. We live in Mackay but leave North Queensland every summer in order to get away from the unpleasant high humidity. We are caravanners who love playing golf and are happy to do a bit of house sitting along the way, particularly during the Christmas school holidays. We have however sold our caravan and are waiting to take delivery of our new motorhome in April 2024 so don't require space for a caravan until then. Happy to look after pets, water gardens, mow lawns, treat swimming pool and do other reasonable property management duties.
Dealing with Kev and Jen very easy. Came with great reviews and left our place, yard and dog very well looked after.
Seemed to be a lovely couple and communicated with us really well.
Would definitely have them back again.
Kev & Jen took the opportunity to meet and talk through the house and pet sit prior to me going away, which I consider is important for all, including Lucy the Cav. Lucy, once overcoming excitement of new visitors, settled well and was certainly content on my return. The home was well maintained and left clean and nothing out of place. Kev & Jen were very pleasant couple, well versed in house sitting, and would welcome them back and happy to recommend them as house / pet sitters.

They visited our home & pets a couple of months prior to our holiday - I felt very content with the idea of having them sit for us after that initial visit.

Kev and Jen were amazing. Came home to happy and well cared for animals and a clean house and yard. Kev and Jen kept in contact throughout the sit to reassure us that our 2 labradors and cat were happy and being looked after.
Came home to some staples in the fridge that were welcome after a late flight home. We were able to have breakfast before hitting the supermarket which was appreciated.

Kev and Jen were wonderful ! Communication was good throughout and they took great care of the house and animals. It was great to come home to a beautiful clean house. I would not hesitate to book them again.
It is so lovely to come home to a sparkling house and everything organised. Kev and Jenny were exceptional housesitters and took such care of our home and our elderly hen! We have a fern house and lots of desert roses than need tending in the dry months and Kev and Jenny tended them well.
Communication before the sit was great and we met up earlier for a chat.

Kev and Jen house sat for us when went on a well needed Vacation. I could not recommend this couple enough. The came and visited before the sit to check our home and two spoilt furbabies. Arrive the day we left and received continuous updates of them sitting on there laps and being very comfortable with them. The takes so much stress out of all of us as they are in there own environment.

Thank you Kev and Jenny for looking after our home and gardens. We knew our home was in great hands when we met Kev and Jenny the day before we left. They were polite, friendly and eager to learn about how to water our gardens. They communicated with us when needed while we were away. They left our home spotless inside and out. We'd have them back anytime!
This sit was a disaster. Apparently only satisfied with an empty paddock to park van. Ridiculously unfair (and undeserved) reviews. Despite being asked to keep the back door key separate in case they shut the front door with keys inside I still ended up with a $400 locksmith call out bill. I normally have a don’t say anything if don’t have something nice to say policy but their review is really uncalled for,. If I just wanted the dogs fed I could’ve got a friend to do it. Kevin and Jen were lovely house sitters. They took great care of our pets and went out of their way to help with the watering on our property.
They left the house in an immaculately clean way which was really appreciated.

Kev and Jen were an absolute pleasure to have at our home. We were able to holiday stressfree knowing that the house and pets were in safe hands.
Everything was perfect when we got home, animals all well and plants alive. Kev and Jen were easy to talk to and let us know what was going on at home but the contact never imposed on our trip away.
We would definitely be happy to have them back and can highly recommend.
Kev and Jen were absolutely fabulous! We have a very exuberant husky, two cats and a budgie and all were very well looked after and cared for. They were wonderful to engage with; especially as we were on short notice and their responsiveness just helped put us at ease that our fur-babies were going to be well looked after whilst we were away. We would absolutely welcome Kev and Jen back anytime and still remain grateful for their kindness and caring toward us, our pets and our home.
