Hi

I was previously employed by Education Queensland as a Business Services Manager. From 2016 to COVID I had been house sitting around Australia and absolutely loved it. I have also house sat in Dunedin NZ and the UK.

I am a responsible, reliable mature age person who is respectful of other people's property and possessions. I have a fury friend of my own, so am very familiar with their needs and also that they are a member of one's family and very precious. I decided to rejoin Aussie House Sitter again as I love travelling around this great country of ours, but my fury co-pilot will be with me. He is very friendly, gets along great with other dogs and is house trained, Unfortunately he doesn't get on with cats.

I have owned my own residence, rented and also rented out my residence so know how important it is to get the right person, someone who is reliable, trustworthy and clean & tidy. I am a non-smoker, very organized, neat, reliable, honest person who enjoys travelling, photography, droning, reading and walking and able to provide names and contact details of referees upon request.

As I enjoy travelling house sitting gives me the opportunity in discovering new places and experiencing an area like a local. I always put my responsibilities first so will never leave your pet/s unattended for too long and will always follow your instructions 100%. House sitting is also a fabulous way to meet some wonderful people and for me to help others while fulfilling my own desire of travel.

Della looked after our 18 month old cavoodle for a month over Christmas while we were overseas. This was our first time to use a house/pet sitter. Della was just fantastic from start to finish. Della came over to meet us and Bonnie initially and go through the routine. Bonnie was walked regularly and given lots of love and care over the month. This was our first time using Aussie Houses Sitters and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Della was great to communicate right from when our ad was posted right up to arriving on the day-of for a run through of our home. Della is a delightful lady and genuinely cared about our animals. Not only was she in charge of our very quirky and needy Maltese terrier but our big fat smoochy cat who apparently plonked herself next to Della for numerous scratches. Layla is very needy and standoffish but Della coped with her strangeness and weird eating habits wonderfully. Della took care of our Dog Winston and our house for a month we found her very easy to communicate with and her care of Winston was superb there were no issues while we were away and when we arrived home house was cleaned to a very high standard. And Winston was very happy we couldn't have had a better house sitter.
