We are a retired couple, non smokers, active, reliable, responsible, clean and tidy.
Both of us enjoy travel, love animals and discovering new places.
Raised with farming backgrounds in NZ and Australia.
In Nz we raised a family of 4 on a small acreage of 50 acres. Cattle, sheep and always domestic animals..
Jame's interests include antique machinery, engineering , fishing, he has many practical skills
My interests include interior decorating, writing, reading, photography walking and several sports.
We are practical and respect others privacy and property as we do our own.
At present we are available from March 5th 2024. Looking forward to meeting new folk and caring for their cherished properties/and much loved pets.

Mary and James provided first class house sitting for our property and pet border collie. Their communication was excellent, with regular communication with our daughter, and photos of her loved "Reggie". We were extremely pleased to see our side gate repaired, and oven having a further special clean. (Have to find out Mary's secret cleaning recipe). Mary and James, a lovely couple who were excellent house sitters. I met them online first and in person when they came to sit at my home. Communication re arrival and departure times and while they were sitting was excellent. They looked after both dogs very well, in fact I think spoilt them a bit! The house was immaculate when I returned. Plants had been cared for and James had looked after pool and done a few odd jobs without being asked. I can highly recommend them for house sitting ... Thank you Mary & James for caring for my home & garden while I was overseas. It was wonderful to return to my home & have both my garden & home well cared for. James also carried out a couple of maintenance jobs for me including correcting an issue with a water gauge that needed recalibrating & retrieving the ‘sensor’ from a ‘down-pipe’ connected to a water tank. Their communication was excellent, and even though their dates of arrival and leaving meant we departed before they came and arrived home just after they left, the transition was seamless. We strongly recommend Mary and James for any house sit possible. They were amazing with our beautiful border collie Sasha and also walked our neighbours dog. The house was spotless on our arrival home. Communication was great when we were away had lots photos, videos and messages of our Sasha. We would like to thank them and would certainly see if they could do it again if we went away.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mary and James. What an absolute pleasure it was to have them sit for us. My animals seemed to have had a holiday all of their own and the house was left immaculate - they cleaned the oven! Mary and James did a fabulous job of looking after our home and gardens. Our house was left in immaculate condition and James had not only maintained our yard but also fixed things such as the irrigation systems for our garden. Communication was prompt and informative. Mary and James are a lovely, easy going couple whom we would love to have sit our house again. We highly recommend Mary and James.
